There are [2] types of Restraining Orders: Domestic Violence and Civil Harassment.

Domestic Violence is the physical abuse of a wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, partner, dependent, grandparent, or child. The feelings of dependence, low self-esteem and fear of leaving their partner is a vicious cycle of Domestic Violence. Prosecutors, Law Enforcement and the Courts have many ways to help victims and their families stop this cycle. Our Attorneys can also help you.

Civil Harassment is the act of constant and/or continued unprovoked and annoying actions of someone or a group, including threats and demands; as well as physical or verbal abuse from a third party who is not a spouse, child, parent boyfriend, former boyfriend, girlfriend, or former girlfriend. This may include racial prejudice, threatening phone calls, emails, notes, letters or texts.

If you are going through a Custody & Visitation matter and are, or have been served with a Restraining Order, whether it is criminal or civil, you could lose many of your rights to your family. Restraining Orders can affect your Divorce, Custody/Visitation, Mediation, Domestic Violence, Grandparent Visitation & or Custody, and International Jurisdiction.

The reason I return time and time again is knowledgeable employees and the respect I am treated with. I also think that the noncondensending matter in which I was treated was a prime factor.
