Domestic Partnerships are for both same sex (any age) and opposite sex relationships (over age 65). Attorney B J Fadem does both a Domestic Partnership package or a Prenuptial Agreement. It is not about whether you trust your partner or not; it is about protecting your rights and your partners rights in case of death or family interference.
With the new Legalization of “Same Sex Marriages” in California, the registration of Domestic Partnerships statutes are currently in flux.

There are common questions asked:

Does registering as Domestic Partners in California completely protect my partner and I or is there more that I can do?
There’s a lot more you can do. Attorney B J Fadem created the Domestic Partner Package in 1992 which is a hybrid of Family Law, Probate Law, and Contract Law.

Do I have to file in Court for a Dissolution of my Domestic Partnership?
Yes: if you and your partner own real property together and / or have a minor child together.

Do Community Property Laws apply to my Domestic Partner termination?
Yes.

Is there a way to protect my Domestic Partner from my family taking all our property after my death if it’s not in both our names?
Yes.

The Domestic Partnership Package Includes:
